- I am using a USR Sporstser 28.8 "plug and play" with the following
- Configuration Profile...
-

- Fax Options Class 1/Class 2.0
- Clock Freq 92.0Mhz
- Eprom 256k
- Ram 64k
-
- EPROM date 9/19/95
- DSP date 9/19/95
-
- EPROM rev 1.0
- DSP rev 1.0

- I downloaded from USR website the file "mdmusrv2.inf" which I believe
- will allow me higher connections than 28.8. BTW, I am using wfwg 3.11,
- not Win95 and using trumphet winsock 2.1f. Now the question: How, where,
- what do I do with the file? It is apparently an information file and
- certainly not an auto-updating file. Do I put parts of it in my
- "login.cmd" script? I looked for a ".ini" file in my modem software
- directory and in the windows (and system)directory. I can find nothing,
- but the original modem .inf file (awmodem.inf)How, where do I install
- this "new software file" and get it to work properly? A great big TIA
